Summer camp in Kijkduin, The Hague
This summer can be the summer that your child learns to kitesurf with us!
During a fantastic week there is kitesurfing, but the week is mainly about having fun.
Our kitesurf camp is for many the first introduction to kitesurfing, but we see more and more children coming back every year to improve their level. The camp is provided by the experienced kite instructors of Kiteboardschool.nl.
Even if you don’t necessarily want to become a surfer, this camp is really worth it and a nice introduction to the sport and you are guaranteed to make new friends. So every level can register. Our camps are all inclusive and food is mostly organic and healthy!

Our Kids Camps take place at our new home base, Boca Grandi Beach Club in Kijkduin. A place built for the water sports community of The Hague, with programs created to support and grow our community by connecting people, sports and nature. It’s a place where we can make real connections and share our summer with friends old and new. Our camps are not only a week of endless fun, but also an opportunity for us to build social skills and self-confidence.

We offer two different day camps: Boca Kids Kite Camp and Boca Kids Surf Camp for children from 8 to 14 years old. In our Kitesurf Camp the emphasis is on kiteboarding, with a mix of
fun activities that take place when we have no wind. We divide the camps into groups because the type of equipment and certification required for each sport is very different. Our camps are taught by (international) instructors from kiteboardschool.nl who are specially certified to teach and instruct children in both English and Dutch.
We conclude each camp with a Family Beach BBQ at Boca Grandi. This is an opportunity for parents and the rest of the family to spend some time together on the beach, meet the surf instructors and other Boca Kids.

Really cool that my little one was able to learn to Kite in this way. The instructors had a great click with all the kids and divided their attention well. Marjolein had a lot of fun and learned to kite in a safe way. I recommend this camp to everyone!

LOCATION
Kijkduin is one of the best places for kiteboarding and surfing in the Netherlands. There is less activity in the area and nature is preserved through unique sand elements and the Sand Motor. It is well served by public transport and parking is free.
COMMUNITY
The Boca Kids will get to know the area and connect with our friendly watersports community, where we always look out for each other. They are building a second house on the beach in Kijkduin where they can continue to practice kiteboarding and surfing after their camp.
the camp
A great way to get acquainted with the epic world of kiteboarding. It is for riders of all levels, from beginners to advanced. Kiteboarding is practiced daily during the camp on flat and shallow water. All lessons are given in small groups by kiteboardschool.nl, the fully certified IKO Kitesurf Center of Kijkduin. When children first learn to control and ride the kite, there is always an instructor by their side to help them. This personal attention ensures safety and rapid progress. Over 17 hours of kiteboarding lessons and a trip to the wakeboard park are included with the 5-day camp. Have you always wanted to teach your children to kite in a safe, fun and affordable way?
